Finished!!

After some hard days of labour I have finished my first big study on  ‘from structure to chaos’.
It felt it was time to stop. I found it hard to keep going because I like that the edges still give away what the origin of the work is,
a pattern of a circle, square and a triangle. I counted about 160 different patterns that make the work.

After spraying a full litre of fixation on it there were still some spots where the charcoal rubbed off.
I’m now looking forward to making two smaller ( 150x100cm ) work with same pattern, using charcoal.
